The questions contractors ask first.

Is Anvilbid Log actually free?
Yes. No trial, no credit card, no upsell. Anvilbid funds the Log from a separate paid product. Your data stays yours.
What's the Data Contribution Rider?
Anonymized structural patterns from your bids (project type, territory, bid range, outcome) help train Anvilbid's estimator. Raw data — project descriptions, customer names, your company name — is never shared. Aliased and stripped before any pattern is extracted.
Do I have to log every bid?
You don't have to. But the dashboard gets useful around bid #10 and powerful around #25. Log every bid you submit — including no-bids — for the most honest picture.
What if I forget to log a bid until later?
Backdating works. Set the bid_date to when you actually submitted. Outcome can be updated later when you find out you won or lost.
Can my crew log bids too?
Crew accounts are coming. For now, one account per company. Email support@anvilbid.com if you need multi-user access early.
How do I export my data?
CSV export from the dashboard. Your data is your data — leave any time and take it with you.
